Armored Komodo Heavy Industries Paint – Chromaflair Sealer

Armored Komodo’s Chromaflair Sealer is used to seal Chromaflair pigments without it turning glittery, use for touching up missed spots during Chromaflair application. It can be top coated safely with ArKom’s lacquer topcoats

Some reminders regarding use of our Chromaflair Sealer.

• It is not to be treated as a topcoat. It has that same tacky finish as Alclad’s Klear Kote even when dry. Use it as a protective sealer only that goes between the Flairs and our lacquer topcoats.

• Do you guys remember we have a lacquer light curing clear base coat? This product has the same properties, you can use it as base coat to apply your Flairs even if you don’t have the light curing black/white. So not only does it seal pigments in, it also works as a light curing base coat.

• It’s water based. You can thin it with water, you can hand brush it and also airbrush it with self leveling properties.

• It’s weird, it’s water based but you can apply lacquer on top of it safely.

Armored Komodo Heavy Industries Paint – SD Putty (Seamline Destroyer)

After 2 months of observation with the 1st month being the hottest part of the summer season, we can safely say that ArKom’s SD Putty can hold its premixed consistency inside our nozzle tipped 25 gram bottle.

The Pros:

• Already premixed, no more mixing and guessing the right consistency.

• The bottle’s nozzle tip allows for accurate dispensing onto seamlines and gaps. Squeeze gently and run the nozzle tip along the seamline. Sit back and let the putty’s self levelling property take care of the rest.

• Wait 15 minutes before sanding.

Now for the cons:

• Doesn’t work with wet sanding.

• The nozzle’s tip gets clogged sometimes. An easy way to prevent this is to tap the bottle on the table a couple of times to dislodge putty in the tip before closing the cap. If it does clog, push a metal pin in the tip to remove clogged putty.
